Join us in the theater at the Nordlof Center in downtown Rockford for a book launch party. Be one of the first to get a copy of Kat Williams' new book All the Way: The Life of Baseball Trailblazer Maybelle Blair hot off the press. Maybelle Blair is expected to attend, too! Hear Kat and Maybelle talk about the book and Maybell's life as a player in the All-American Girl Professional Baseball League, as well as the times she played at Rockford's own Beyer Stadium. After the talk, join us for a light reception and book signing. Books will be available for purchase.

About the library
The facility at 118 N. Main St. in Rockford spans 30,000 square feet and serves as a versatile space for performances, classes, community gatherings, cultural events, and technology training across the region. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. Inside, you'll find the J.R. Sullivan Theater with 280 seats, the Black Box Theater with 60 seats, several meeting and classroom spaces, and the 15 station Walmart Computer Classroom.
