Did you know there are historically famous people buried in Rockford? Learn about them and how to find their graves. Presented by Winnebago/Boone Counties Genealogical Society. Q/A session after.

Local history and genealogy enthusiasts will learn tips about Find a Grave®, a free online database of cemetery records. Find a Grave® contains the world's largest collection of burial records via their website or free app. Jerry Moors, treasurer of Winnebago/Boone Counties Genealogical Society, is the featured presenter.

Come visit the East Branch, located in the former Barnes & Noble building on East State St. The East Branch offers a 65-seat meeting room, free Wi-Fi, quiet study rooms, special areas for children and adults, and an expanded collection of books and media, as well as a Friends of RPL book shop.
