[usual] Suspects presents Urinetown, music & lyrics by Mark Hollmann, book & lyrics by Greg Kotis.
For 20 years, a town (not unlike your town) has suffered a drought. A large, monopolizing corporation, with politicians and the police in their deep pockets, is charging fees as they please for water usage. When a new fee hike is imposed, the poor and downtrodden rise up against their oppressors and learn lots of lessons. There’s singing and dancing and things like that. Some characters even fall in love. You will laugh. You will cry. You will probably wet yourself, which you will be responsible for.
Directed by Charlie Rasmann
URINETOWN is presented by special arrangement with Music Theater International (MTI).
