A Women's Suffrage Movement exhibit showcasing local connections to the eventual ratification of the 19th Amendment. It features real stories about local suffragists in the Rockford area.

This traveling exhibit from Midway Village Museum features real accounts and historical artifacts, a few local suffragists, and the ties the Rockford area had to the larger, nation-wide movement which began in 1848. It is free and open to the public to view during normal business hours at Rock River Branch, 3128 11th St. In addition, if you have an up-to-date RPL library card in good standing, you may check out a pass for free entry to Midway Village Museum! The museum is located at 6799 Guilford Rd. For more information on museum hours visit www.midwayvillage.com. Don't forget about the Roaring in Rockford Storytime on January 25 from 1:00 - 3:00 that features a costumed interpreter.
