Zoe Norwood of RPL and a representative of Children's Home & Aid will co-lead this virtual discussion for adults of What Happened to You?: Conversations on Trauma, Resilience, and Healing, c2021. The authors - Bruce Perry, M.D., Ph.D., senior fellow of the ChildTrauma Academy; and global media leader and philanthropist Oprah Winfrey - have been talking about childhood trauma for many years, with the conversations in this book a "culmination of those talks," as Perry says. Winfrey shares stories of trauma from her childhood with Perry, who offers insights. They hope that "every reader will, in their own way, gain insights to help us all live better, more fulfilling lives."
