Enjoy a Hispanic Heritage Concert with us featuring Tito Cevallos Jr. at the Montague Branch Library!!
We're wrapping up our Hispanic Heritage Month with an outdoor concert featuring Tito Cevallos Jr. at the Montague Branch Library. Bring outdoor chairs or a blanket to spread out on the lawn while enjoying food from a Wepa Cuisine Puerto Rican Food Truck. Sign up for a new library card or show your existing one and get $1 off your Wepa Cuisine meal! Kids will be able to make crafts to interact with the music. Face masks are required at this event.
Officially opened on May 24, 1923, the Montague Branch Library is the Library’s oldest existing branch library facility. Located on the corner of Winnebago and Montague Streets, this branch serves people living on the south and west sides of Rockford. The two-story brick building has been lovingly restored and contains many of the original oak bookcases and a fireplace. The Montague Branch offers an expanded children’s space including a dedicated play room, a wireless computer area, a classroom and the Constance V. Lane Community Room.
