Learn Jenna's story, how she fell in love with Poetry and how she feels it can bring our community together. Jenna will perform her work, answer your questions and sign books purchased at the event!
We will be chatting with City of Rockford Poet Laureate, Jenna Goldsmith learning how Poetry so enchanted her that she built a career around it.
Jenna will deliver a "talk" where she discusses the artform of Poetry, her relationship to it, and how she would like to see Rockford use Poetry to create more profound moments in the day to day lives of those who live here.
Jenna will perform some of her favorite pieces, and then answer audience questions. Some of Jenna's books will be available for purchase and the event will close with a book signing of any books audience members bring or purchase.
